As the finishing touches to its complete renovation, we helped the famous Copenhagen institution d’Angleterre create a new visual identity to cement its position as a fashionable and cultural hotspot. The logo combines a delicate balance of heritage and modernity. Its centred composition and deep green colour provide notes of the hotel’s splendid grandeur. Highlighting over 250 years of heritage, it is centred around a bespoke typeface, classic in design, yet modern in proportions, not unlike the grand lady herself. Consisting of generously spaced uppercase letters only, the condensed bespoke typeface DANGLETERRE is the hotel’s personal voice.
